White
A challenge unlike any other, this white monochrome, so représentative
of this work without apology that so few binders are capable of.
Jacqueline Poydenot, by covering four of O.Mérijon's painting
in white boxcalf has created a book-object, "4 fauteuils blancs",
an animated structure on a Japanese binding of a novel by the artist.
It would have hardly been possible to go any further in this approach
having heard O.Mérijon define the monochrome white as:
"The ultimate conquest of all colours combined in one…"
Neverless, the key is needed to what could have remained extremely
intellectual.
